| Is my eyesight getting worse or where the big screens hard to see last night?
the SKY one looked pixelated and that it had seen better days, while the white lights next to the new big screen in the South Stand made it hard to see. Anyone know why wasn't the North stand screen wasn't used?
might seem a minor point, but it in a game with a lot of video ref decisions it was annoying, and it was hard to see the score at some points.

| The brightness of the new screen was for me distracting. Very very bright.

the speakers in the East stand have been terrible for years, would have rather they sorted that out than splash out on a new TV

| apparently the screen in the north stand is over 10 years old and has now past its sell by date and deemed unfit for use, these type of screens only have a 10 year lifespan and I am led to believe that a new one will be put in but im not sure when.
I too found the pa system hard to hear but I just thought I was going deaf in my old age !

| I could hardy see the new screen at all - the brightly lit ads on either side were the main cause..
I also found the adverts lighting up the touchlines very distracting - I thought they'd been banned last year?

| The north stand screen works fine for Hull City games.

Yes. The new screen is an Allam decision so there are two screens for Premiership matches. Probably plunging the SMC even more unaccountably into the red.
But why use that screen solely at our games? If I were in the South Stand I'd be a bit indignant. Great for the few dozen away fans, mind. And, yes, it's too dazzlingly bright and, I thought, the picture too small to see properly.

| I sit in South and it's very offputting with the flashing bright and dark. Also very difficult to see it clearly.
But yeah - great for the away fans :/

| The new screen is a complete waste of time. All it shows are adverts and who the fk wants to watch them during a match?
Far too bright with the white backgrounds. In the South Stand the light just distracts.
As for the PA. Clarky talks too fast and the volume is too low. The sound cuts out in the South sometimes too.

The sound always used to be fine but it was rubbish for the Rovers match and again yesterday.

| Whats up with the other screen. The new screen is horrible. Far to bright an never zooms in like the old 1 use to.
Also anyone notice the picture on the sky screen was poor?

I maybe wrong but i don't think we've had that screen 10 years. we had the old light type scoreboard, which i think came from sunderland.
I don't understand why we can't have both screens on as they do for city games. at least we are finally making use of the electric advertising boards.
The pa system has needed sorting for a long while, i sit in the east stand for City and south for Hull and both stands are very poor.
