| I'm not often given to rallying calls, but have been reflecting on Rich's contribution to our club over the last 10 years, and I'd urge anyone who can get there but is 50/50 because it might rain or some such, to have a word with themselves and get down the M62 on Sunday
The word stalwart has rarely been more relevant. He's faced some adversity. I recall that awful day a few years backwhen, coming back from injury, he broke his leg in two places. Richard Agar said Rich's face in the back of that ambulance would always stay with him. Every season he states a preference for the back row, and generally ends up anywhere but. Is there a position this lad hasn't played in for the good of the team?
It's testament to his skill and ability that he won Young Super League Player of the Year 9 years ago, and has given us some memorable moments, probably Cardiff being the main one. Beyond this, though, he's won Hull FC Community Player of the Year twice, and Super League Community Player of the Year too. Last season he won Supporters Player of the Year for the third time.
We've been a bit spoilt in recent years with testimonials for Radders, Horne and Yeaman, but IMO none are more deserving than Rich. I really hope he gets a good turnout to reflect the amazing value he's given the club over the years.

Very well said. He thoroughly deserves our support on Sunday and I'll be there. Hope we pack the place out

| The weather report over this way (I've moved to Leeds) shows sunday being the best day day over the next week or so. Cold, but no rain. Get yourselves there to support him. Great player, lovely bloke.

| In his new Hull daily Mail column today he says, "I've only ever played for two professional clubs and only plan on playing for two", the way he plays and that sort of loyalty to us lot, makes it a must for anyone who can get there, after all 'Superman's' efforts over the years for us its the least we can do for him.
Its a shame it can't be at home but at least this way he has a chance of making a bit from the game. If you have any spare car seats make sure someone sat in them!

| I'm a bit tardy in asking but is anyone driving from Manchester?
I can't get there by train but I'd like to go. Whiting has been my favourite FC player since I first saw him play.

Looks like he's engineering a move back to Fev
I hope he gets a good turnout, he's been a very loyal servant to your club.

His input at Cardiff is worth the support of every FC fan for his testimonial, imho. A magic moment, and one that sums up his effort (to be in the right place) and what a good rugby brain he has.

| my favourite hull player during super league era.he may not have the natural talent of a jason smith or richie barnett snr but i'v yet to see a player who consistantly gives more to the team.i still think he has the best rugby brain at the club.any player who can start game in 2nd row, move to centre then wing and finish match at fullback and not only hold is own but still have a major infuence deserves the nick name super-man.the game @ k.c v bradford where he smashed the volcano into touch is still one of my favourite k.c moments.i think if he had a regular position (13 for me) he would be great shout for captain

You have to take your hats off to Fev. If any club deserves to get in superleague on merit its them. I am really looking forward to seeing the stand that you got from Scarborough and built back up from volunteers and a lot of retired guys giving up their spare time I believe.
