I wish somebody would explain the benefits of warm weather training to me, because it justs appears to be a con imo. Clubs who go on it are no better prepared than those who don't, it's bollox.

You're on the wrong board again, your below us as per norm.

Its about time, I have never understood the value of taking the team away to a warm climate for pre season training when the season starts in the middle of winter. It its as important to train & prepare ready for the conditions you will face in the game just as much as tactics, calls, game plans etc.

I seem to recall AP stating something about an all weather pitch or some such facility last season.

In Pearsons Piece about his £100,000 investment in a new gym for the kids he stated that Bishop Burton has an indoor pitch, whatever that means.

Why would you ask a Rovers supporter " How's Skirlaugh these days" are you referring to Saltend?

so if there is an indoor pitch, there isn't any need to spend money on warm weather training facilities? money that can be used to keep improving facilities at Sirius and bishop burton
