Actually we're pretty good when the opposition have the ball. The problems manifest when we get it.

If hear the word misfire once more this season i'm going to explode.
I won't knock the lads for effort but god we're awful with the ball in hand.
I just wonder what they do all week at training because nothing seems to change still misfiring after god knows how long.

I've said that for a long time now , we seem happy to defend all day long because we're quite good at it , but it's as though we don't want the ball at times . Do the players know we won't score without the ball . |

For all we know, they may well have trained well. It may only be the positive Gentle can speak of at the moment. I just don't understand what everyone wants him to say after we've played poorly, other than what he's already said. |

Saying "we've trained well" after every poor performance, whether it's true or not, isn't what the fans want to hear. We don't pay for them to train well, we pay to see a competent showing on match day. He should comment on the game rather than insulting us with how good training was and how well we did in the warm up. |

I really feel that people are making way too much of this. He's providing media-friendly soundbites which - like it or not - will be part of his job. I'm far more concerned about what's happening on the pitch than what's being said about it TBH. |

“They sapped our energy but I don’t think we threw a lot at them and we looked a bit brain dead at times. We lacked control and if we’re not on top of our game like tonight, we struggle to get the momentum going forward.
“We are getting in the arm wrestle but we just can’t seem to find a way through and that is down to costly errors and basics skills that we must improve on.”

The SL season has been a disaster and I'm as gutted as every Hull fan, I do a 240 round trip for home games so its not been great this year!
However we are 80 minutes from a Wembley final and a possible cup win that would be the greatest day in the clubs history. Yes I'm angry and fed up about last night but lets draw a line in the sand and focus solely on getting behind the lads for next Sunday! At the semi in 2005 we lifted the lads to a famous win and they are gonna need a vocal FC army on Sunday.
Come on you Hull!
