post concussion syndrome is more than likely what Holdsworth has. Generally only lasts a few weeks, but in some cases it can last for an indefinite period. The only thing that can help it, is rest!

PCS is a serious problem and can lead to early retirement for players in a contact sport. As a fan of the NHL they have started to look into this and ways to cut down PCS. Many major players in the NHL have retired due to PCS such as Lindross, LaFontaine, Deadmarsh & Primeau to name a few.
Mike Richter the former NY rangers net minder had to retire after 2 concussions in succession so rest and recovery before getting back out is imperative for the players welfare.

Totally agree, their tactics against Rovers last weekend were a disgrace. So far from Anderson's 2006 "Entertainers" it's criminal.

Posted as much last week on their board after that disgraceful display against Rovers. It's strange that their fans can't see that the main reason it's not working for them at the moment is Brown has them playing this dirty wrestling style which is an anathema to them after decades of exciting free-flowing rugby.

Didn't understand Sts signing him as their coach in the first place and still not convinced he will do anything other than set them back years. Just not his style if game that Sts are renowned for playing. They'll certainly need to lose the entertainers tag if he continues as head coach beyond this season.
