what was everyones at beginning of season?

i said top six and a playoff win we have achieved that so im very happy,dont see why we cant go to wire and win tho,im very impressed with what gentle has achieved this year,only missed out on 3rd place by 2 losses,considering the games we threw away aswel,kr,wakey,salford,even the draw at wire to a degree,also 17 debutants plus all the injuries,the players that have gained experiance can only be good for the club,realy excited at what gentle is bringing to the club very exciting times ahead.

I too expected 6th and a playoff win, whatever happens now is a bonus...but I am confident we can at least give Wire a game, they looked battered and tired after their game last night, while we are brimming with confidence and could have Moa and Tickle back next week.

Same, 6th and playoff win. Anything else now a huge bonus. Next year top 4, good CC and play off runs.

MY expectation was pretty much what people said that is be in the top 6 and win a playoff game and we acheived that so i am very happy. I dont see any reason why we can beat warrington anfter tonights performance we just need to back it up and like Gentle said we aint here just to make the numbers up in the playoffs. Come on you Ulllllaaaaaa.

All in all i am one very happy Hull fan.

Most pleasing thing for me is the youngsters being given a chance again which will stand us in good stead for years to come. Gentle doing a great job for me but will not rest till brings silverware imo

I said as long as we win a playoff match then that's making progress. The performance one year a go to the day at Leeds was a joke and that made tonight's result and display even more satisfying for me.

Just realised we have scored 156 points in our last three games and conceded 24. I wonder if there has been a better three game sequence in Super League this year?

On the whole dead happy with how things have gone (few wobbles aside, ie Wakey away and Manchester), anything from now on in is a bonus.

overall quite pleased wolfie, we need to get the off field issues sorted ie backroom staff conditioning, but really pleased with the way where moving forward we have rescued the season ,only real downer is the way we handled the Manu contract we could easily have kept him bomber fooked that right up offering him a lesser deal than hes on now then telling him to find another club then offering a better deal which if he would have put on the table in the 1st place Manu would still have been an fc player ,its the only negative i have , where playing really attractive rugby and the spirt is second to none we have a great chance on saturday which would really top off a great season if we could pull off a win, well done the players and gentle

a friend of mine had a box at the castleford game and after the match at the presentation she spoke to both turner and manu, when asked why he, manu, was leaving it was because he wanted a three year deal but we would only give him a 2 year deal! absolutley gutted he's going, lets just hope he has off games against us when we play saints

Been some impressive signs this year. Hull FC are back on the up IMO. Probably take a couple more years to build a top squad but Hull have passed my expectations so far.

i would think so, even your team warrington took a couple of seasons to get to where they are now once moran took over, albeit you did win the challenge cup at the expense of a play off place

future for us looks bright, a lot of fans of other teams are accusing pearson of splashing the cash and not giving our youth a chance yet 5 hull born lads plus lineham have been given debuts this and new contracts this season! they either feel threatened by us or just plain jealous!
