| Why do radio blunderside believe we the FC faithful value the opinions of Cooke?
Or is it just me!
After the game tonight on the way home all I got was what Judas thought of Galea and the rumours.
Gentle got five minutes at the end owing to transmission times and I can understand his priorities are with the team immediately after the match but this radio station are so second rate its unreal.

Did Cooke think FC signing Galea would be a bad idea?

| Cooke kept going on about Galea not wanting to retire but kept getting bits in about his own cross city move, the bar steward.

I find Cooke's views interesting, fell out with both clubs and calls a spade a spade with genuine insight. I'd like to read his column in the HDM but they don't put it online unfortunately.

| What was wrong with it? He answered the questions he was asked.
The only thing i object to is the fact that they start talking about the dobins or going to the news when they could be talking to the fans who have been at the games. That goes for all their comentrys, after the game they go to the news. When the only people listening to Humberside at that point are only interested in sport not news.

I think next year is the last year Hull can take legal action against him before the time runs out, I am sure we will see a book after this deadline has gone. And if there is one I suggest that 1 Hull fan buys it, and then scans the whole thing online and we'll all read it from there!

| Maybe its just me but I can`t stand the fella after the way he treat our club with his acrimonious move across the city. I want to hear peoples opinions on the game that I have attended, the fitness of the players after said games and the coaching staffs views on where we are heading. With Judas, and yes some of his comments are fair, but all the time with his cringing voice all I hear is him trying to curry favour with the listeners. He`s a nomark trying desperately to stay in the headlines, in my opinion.

Hopefully though the scanning will not degrade the quality of the crayon scrawlings!

It won't be just the possibility of legal action from Hull that would affect publication of Judas's book. Remember he was employed by a hateful ambulance chaser to whom facts are an inconvenience and who knows how to exploit the legal system. I wouldn't be surprised if there are restrictions on what he can say in his severance terms with the dobbins.
And despite having no regard for Judas for what he did, I have to admit he provides some interesting insights into the game.

I suspect RH invited him on, rather than him pitching up and demanding air time, so your complaint should be with their editorial choices in the first instance. In their defence, this is a fairly big breaking story in terms of Hull RL, and who better to comment on it than someone who's done it themselves?
If RH do an end of season RL review, frankly I'd be much more interested in Cooke's insight than that of Lloyd, Pinkney etc. Would be good to get a view that critically examines the relative seasons and direction of travel of the two clubs from someone not bothered whether their appraisal might upset the clubs.
Whatever your thoughts of him as a person, he's as far from a RL "no mark" in Hull as you can get, with his role on our most successful campaigns undisputed and arguably being the key factor in Rovers avoiding relegation.

And Mrs Barista he was also the catalyst for our last five years of treading water with the also rans. HE was the reason for our DEMISE and he alone, with a modicum of help from Rule and Hetherington.

Doesn't make his views/opinions any less valid and he's certainly more knowledgable on the game than pretty much every poster on RLFANS
