I have to say that with the exception of G Ellis, the recruitment by the new regime is underwhelming. The club keep telling us that the goal is to be the best team in SL and that they want the crowds back, but the recruitment so far is not in line with this goal. I think another year of mid table mediocrity with limp CC and playoff performances await. I get the feeling 2012 is already written off and 2013 will be yet another false dawn. I’m so disappointed after being very optimistic about all the changes at the club. They are not going to increase ticket sales if they keep going like this.

Why not wait until we have announced all our signings for next season.

I agree, our recruitment/announced signings are far from over.

If we get Peae, Holdsworth, a new NRL Prop and a few of the better Bradford players I will be happy. I'm sure that if we have signed Mcgoldrick he will be used as utility and a back up to the starting 13.

You have a point but for me I think McGoldrick signing was the straw that broke the camel’s back. Overall what's going out is of far better quality than what’s coming in. It’s not in line with what the club have been saying to the fans. Also the number of signings made is equal to what’s going out so I think it’s fair to have a judgment now.

If being the important word here. I think the fans will be disappointed that the signings we have made will not match all the spin coming out from the club. Let’s face it, they haven't matched the ambition so far so you have to question why would that trend change?

And those going out have done so well for the club, making us a force to be reckoned with.............ah no they have not.

Whilst I am unhappy to say the least with McGoldrick I am also happy to see how they go before lambasting the Mcrae/Gentle/Pearson for poor signings.

We are massively short on numbers this season and there is not much quality available for now. This seems like a bit of a knee jerk reaction, wait and see our team for next season, Adam Pearson has promised a team to put fear in the opposition and I know he will be true to his word (he always is).

Manu, Moa, O'Meley, Briscoe, Tickle are the better players we have, so if whats going out is worse than whats coming in, we will be even worse, that's my point. Name a Gentle signing that has done well so far then in 2012?

Well looking at the team for next year, he is a million miles from being true to his word. Maybe I should wait until the full squad has been announced but he would have to announce 6 amazing signings for us to be the best team in SL. Anyone thinking that is going to happen is mistaken.

Actually Agar had already set that deal up K Diddy.

Got to admit that if Pearson and Gentle think Mcgoldrick is better than we have and if one of the 6 exciting signings next season than I am slightly worried.

Finally someone who is understanding my point.

Recruitment was done before Gentle arrived, and with sp picking available he added Aspinwall and Martin just to give us a bit more cover in depth.

Individually those players may be better, but we are talking about a coach building a new TEAM not a team of individuals. Until we see how the new players we have and the ones we are getting fit together it is all just supposition.
