Heads up for anyone running a coach trip to Manchester next Saturday I contacted the Stadium regarding parking at the Stadium and this was the reply I got from them.
Thank you for your email.
I can confirm parking is now on sale via our Supporter Services team and cannot be purchased in person next weekend. Please contact us on 0161 444 1894 option 1 then 3. Coach parking is priced £30 per coach.

So basically you cannot pay on the day and you have to buy a permit in advance, there may be alternative parking around the stadium, but if you want to park at the stadium you will have to book in advance.

Car Parking....
We're stopping overnight but hotel partner car park (NCP) was something like £15.00, booked into Piccadilly Train Station Long Stay which is only £4.00 for 24 hours, might be of interest to anyone staying over or wanting a few bevvies before / after the game  (assuming you have a nominated driver if not staying over  )

hi i would check that tram to the stadium. it goes to the asda store across the road from from the ethiad and it wasn t open last friday thet putting in 2 new lines one to the east and one to parrs wood in the west

Just tried to order a permit. but they said its to late for them to process the request and will have to pay on the day, if any spaces left. I asked him to send me it in e-mail format so i could print it off. He said they cannot do that, i would just have to take my chance on the day. They are really falling over themselves for this event..........

why does that not surprise me,
from day one this was always going to be a headache for parking, there will be crime gangs in and around the area who have made better plans for our arrival than the RFL
