cant arfue with that, been well impressdw ith him so far, al;though i recon we could get rid on the basis that his cash has been spent elsewhere already and he might get a 2 year deal somewhere else...

| Difficult to say at this point, performances have been consistent across the board.
I think O'Meley is the only one who I think will go for definite, maybe Moa however if he goes I doubt it will be to another SL club.

| I would like to see Sharp, Turner, Manu, Whiting and Aspinwall kept. Moa has done a really really good job for Hull, but I'm sure there will be some big names in OZ looking for a contract in the UK. After the signing of Ellis, I'm sure there will be some players wanting to have a go at Hull FC..
I would like to see a strong mobile prop and another proven halfback to partner Seymour, and if we blood some of the youngsters, which Gentle is keen to do, then we should have a good squad for 2013.

| The thing that's uncertain for me is the readiness of our academy players to step up. I don't watch them, but I've been very pleasantly surprised with Bowden's ability to slot in so quickly. That said, I can't remember that he was singled out of the group of young players as the one most ready. On the very limited evidence so far it would seem that he could take Ogre's spot and free up a load of cash. The question is whether this can happen elsewhere in the squad. Will Crooks be ready in a year's time to take Martin's place, for example?
Manu, Sharp and Turner are must keeps IMO. Ideally Moa too, although looks unlikely.

I would add Whiting to that must list as well...

Agreed, with a testimonial too. Bit of a no-brainer IMO.

| I think we will see the back of
Briscoe, Martin, Moa, Omeley, Burnett, Lynne and possibly Horne depending on his wage value
Whiting is an absolute must to keep IMO but think Manu, Sharp will stay but not sure about what people say about turner wanting to go nearer home

| Who goes and stays will be determined largely by whether there is anyone better available and willing to come and who compliments the balance of the team. Having a predetermined view on those to get rid of and/or signing players just because there's no one else is a recipe for disaster and pushes the prospect of having a squad capable of challenging further and further away. The best thing about Gentle is that he seemingly understands that and is constantly planning for the future whilst still able to get the best out of the guys in situ.

| Did AP not say we were looking to recruit some young future internationals ? ....I hope he did very good recipe for a successful future that, and Gentle certainly appears to be the man to bring the best out of youngsters.

| Pitts is hopefully the start of a long line ofm young upcoming / potential future international players we bring in, for far too long now we have been as a club hell bent on fixing the issue there and then instead of steady repair from grass roots upwards thus sorting future sucess as well.
it would be fair to say i havent felt this good about the club since Smith was with us,
in AP,bomber & PG we trust!

| Don't think O'Meley is a PG style of prop, so I think he'll be allowed to leave. I don't think Moa is either tbh, but he gives us a lot of impact so on that basis I think Gentle will want to keep him, so it's up to Sam.
My order of preference for new deals for the others would be:
Manu
Whiting
Sharp
Turner
Aspinwall, although I think he's likely a sacrifice we need to make for Ellis financially.
Martin, with Arundel coming I don't see us offering a deal.
Maybe Briscoe will go this year? Not sure, think he'll see out his contract which means Crookes will likely be back up when he signs.

| briscoe going would depend on the willingness of another club to pay a transfer fee as he is under contract
