Where are they now? for ex players

The price puts me off. They might sell more if the price was lowered. I don't know how much they cost to produce but more people might buy if the price was lower?

Prices, I Stopped Buyin When Price Went Up..

Started buying one on a regular basis, after I started taking my eldest last year. He really liked the posters and the kids section. Some of them spot the differences are impossible!

Price is the main reason I don't buy them as well. Lets be honest all a lot of people want from a programme is a cover with the two teams on a bit of blurb inside and the lineups. No real need to fill it up with more stuff and charge more as it is usually read whilst waiting for the game to kick off then it is rolled up and stuck in the back pocket till you get home.

Competitions for fans to interview players maybe....
Lower the prices too.

They could do a program app/download for people with smart phones/kindles. Once set up running costs should be minimal, fans could then download that days prog and when a player scores they could easily record tries, kicks or other notes etc on the app too. Flicking through the pages won't really be that much different.
Make the cost either per game or per season though not sure how that would work exactly, some sort of single use code with each purchase

Probably make more money on each 'sale' than for a hard copy AND the club could brag about being more environmentally friendly and in front tech wise if nobody else has done it?

Content wise I'd like to see a full player profile done of players of yore including all their stats, as opposed to just a 'where are they now' short which could easily be tagged onto the bottom of each profile. I haven't really bought progs since I was a kid when I'd buy loads of 'other' teams from the old portakabin club shop at the side of the best stand for 5p or so

Prices put me off, even though we have passes we still spend a few quid every match on a couple of sherberts etc.

£3 for a hull fc programme in 2011,and £2 for a warrington programme in the same season.

Also When You Think, If you Want To have a beer and burger before the match. thats £10 gone already

reduce the price. acouple of years ago the club issued a poster and then each programme there after a sticker of a player was in the next programme my youngest loved it and made me buy aprorgamme each week

Same here was a good idea, how about a map of the world that kids could put on their walls with blank squares next to the various countries the players come from , then in following mags they could have stickers of those players etc that kids place on the squares???

Tons of stuff they could include, make the centre pages one of those cracker things you used to get in the Dandy and other kids comics now and again, so on match days the kids can take them out, fold along the lines and keep cracking them for atmosphere??? and keep them interested at half times etc...

how about an app programme????, costs a quid a week and read when you like

Wouldn't really work with RL though, what we have for our team 4/5 countries?
