Anyone remember this case.....just been on national news that they buried the wrong body 10yrs ago and he has been laid in a morgue for the last 10yrs.

If I remember rightly four of the culpable officers retired on medical grounds.

His family fooked over again by the looks of it.

Incompetence of the highest order.

Absolutely tragic, thoughts go out to his family and friends. I can't imagine how they will cope having to go through a second funeral.

10 years is a long time for someone to be keep on ice isn't it ? .

Still, it will give his sister another chance to claim some compensation, that usually relieves the pain.

If the woman who they thought was in the morgue died in 1999, and Mr Alder died in 1998, why was Mr Alder's body kept for a year in the first place? When was his funeral?
