So we have only four props ? Three 1st team 2nd rowers and were near the cap ? So some players are on way too much possibly seymour at a guess or were not spending the full cap

Hard to see how we can't bring in a couple more players. I'm pretty sure AP said we'd look to bring in some big names. Maybe he meant in 2013.

Looks a poor return on £1.65m compared to other teams

He does say its not the end of the recruitment though. So probably a prop/second row arriving? It begs the question why they didnt give Radford a player/coach deal. I thought he looked solid enough the few times I saw him last season.

I know we dont know what these players are on but if we are near salary cap then some players are on way too much. We havent been spending the full cap with old board and now we have released all these players and we are still near salary cap? Something just doesnt add up to me.

Front row seems fine but the backrow is a worry any injuries and we will be in trouble. Dowes, Phelps, Burnett and Wash were all on small wages so wont have freed up much cap.

Whiting at back row this season then, seems people have their wish about playing the young uns.

Imo, he would make an outstanding old fashioned loose forward given an extended run there. Despite him playing for you, he's a player i really rate.

Always has looked a L/F to me too.

Suppose Mcrae did say a champion player that would cost what 150k in wages ? I suppose if we can bring another forward in then will make us look stronger

The current board and coaching team have been restricted by the last board and Agar.

However I don't think that the old board signings where too bad.

Has any other team brought in a better FB or HB than Mckinnon and Seymour.

Ellis provides good back up and O Carroll gives us much needed depth in the props.

Lynch is great signing (by the new team)

Another forward and I will be pretty happy with our squad, much better balanced than last year, new coaching staff and a chance to play some young kids.
