to be honest, I always take the phrase "significant six figure sum" and the like with a pinch of salt, there are only a handful of people who really know what money changes hands, as someone suggested (yesterday, I think) we may well have a friendly against Bradford and let them keep the gate receipts, 4,000 FC fans at £18 each makes a big hole in £100k. |
