I know its probably been mentioned before but I've just been watching the SL Show & I couldn't help but notice how boring this mans commentary is. Also how many stupid mistakes he makes with names etc. Apparently we've got a couple of players called Yeoman & Hobbs. The full RL commentary teams over here really do need sorting out because barring a couple they are all shocking. Rant over haha.

dont forget our hooker danny horton...i have to have no commentary on when hes on,drives me up the wall!!

You mean the Err pensionErr that is Err Ray French, the guy who cannot pronounce a playErr's name without saying "Err" time after time?

if i was in charge of selling the TV rights to the BBC i would stipulate it is on the proviso that French is given the boot, portrays totally the wrong image of the game, the bloke is a dinasour!

Funniest bit was when there was obviously some glitch with the recording and he said "what's happened there"

French is stuck in the dark ages. Watching the cup game back on iplayer the amount of times he said that's a good kick when the ball went straight to a winger or fullback was embarrassing.

Calling Phelps Phillips in the first half (could understand if there was a Phillips on the teams sheets)

Agree with what's been said... French just makes the game look old fashioned and designed for the flat cappers. The RL should demand a totally fresh new young team - modern graphics and presentation - basically rip off aussie SOO presentation and build from there. The BBC coverage is the RL showcase to the rest of the country.

Rugby league hasn't moved with the times,21st century game with 20th century presenters and presentation.Of the older generation myself but i always think that you can't look backwards,you have to modernize and look to the future and lets start with the presenters.Totally agree about getting rid of the flat cap image.

Sky can do it so why can't the BBC?

Why not turn down the sound on the telly,and put the radio on?.....sorted.

I wish I had pound for every time French says "He,s going for line" no matter whereabouts the player is on the pitch.
