| Now Seymour's signed it must be the end?
Also confirms there'll be no Fitz or Lauaki next year.

| Obst could get resident and get off the quota list meaning Fitz could stay.
Lauaki could be kept over Moa.
Or we could bring in someone else.

Nope !
Quota
Seymour
McKinnon
Heremaia
O meley
Non fed
Seymour
McKinnon
Heremaia
O meley
Moa
That's if obst comes off only got a quota space but not a non fed and these players are rare like obst who have been here before 2008 when he non fed rules where brought in. So that's on the basis that Seymour has signed meaning we can't keep Fitz or hame !

Technically yes, but that's on the presumption we wouldn't want to get rid of our second best prop who is at the early stages of his career and got his best years ahead of him yet.

| That wasn't my point, I said this doesn't defiantly mean the end of Fitz and Lauaki.

Fair enough, I cant see either staying although as you say it's not impossible.

| Seems like the end of Ling, Fitz and Lauaki. The only one that I'm sad to see go is Fitzgibbon. Moa must be retained, however.
Focus now must be to sign a backrower. Second priority is a Prop, Gleeson rumpled aside.
I'd we sign a decent backrower I'd be pleased with how our squad is looking for next year (despite McKinnon's injury record concerning me).

You don't rate Manu, Tickle or Westerman then?

I'll be sad to see all three go. Long is legend of the game and it's a shame his time with us was blighted by injuries.
Fitz has been awesome and his work ethic and professionalism is an example to every young player at the club aswell as his quality. Think he will retire and go into coaching where I think he will do very well.
Hame divides opinion but I like him and feel he could have done more fo us had we used him better. It's a shame he is leaving but Moa deserves the spot ahead of him no question.

Hame commands a big wage though, and certainly hasn't lived up to expectations.
I'll only be sad to see Fitz go, really feel honoured he choose to wear the black & white of Hull FC. So much so I'm taking my young twins to the Salford game just so they'll be able to say they saw him play when they're older.

| defo prop in the lima mould for me. hope these gleeson rumours are just rumour but if not we need a decent centre. Having watched the nl1 games I think we could do a lot worse than than pulling someone out of there.
