fonds blancs/Sid.gif I have lost interest:fonds blancs/Sid.gif |

| As the thread suggests , I would be happy if these 2 guys ran it from here on in. Webster/Last can go with Agar dspite being decent peopkle. I feel we need a broom through the lot and the board could go as well for me. They have backed Agar through all this.
I know Longy wants to get into coaching and Fitz has the genuine respect. Longy will barely play this season and he would have a palyer coach in Fitz on the pitch.
I want a world class coach but may have to wait 6 months to end of respective NRL season.
They would be better than Nobby/McNamara for sure .....????

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

| Fitz who wants to play 13 for 80 mins?
Long who claims he's fit the hobbles around the park?
And why get rid of Last? Aren't the 20's doing well?

| What we need is an experienced coach who knows what they are doing at top level not more coaches who have never been a head coach!

So you would have opposed Maguire or Kearney?

| We either need a coach with a proven track record or a coach who has worked within a top class coaching environment.
I was in favour of noble but the more I think about it the more I think we need an overseas coach. There was obviously some reason that wigan got rid of him. If he'd got us to the verge of the GF 2 years in a row we'd have offered him a contract for life. wigan saw his deficiencies, got rid and won the GF within 12 months. For me, that shows a level of vision that our board simply don't have

Noble is the BEST British coach around proven track record he dragged Wigan back from the brink . took a team from Wales and got them into the top 8 .What could he achieve with the money that has been given to Agar .I say sign him NOW after he has had his Sunday fry up .Every one now knows we are in a state . Desperate means desperate measures . Long may have a very good RL brain but as yet he is no coach .Lowes proved that you have to learn the role as a coach . Fitz does he want or need the hassle
Noble is there waiting and ready sign him and we might achieve some thing this year

Long has moved back over to Wigan. For the extra hours he'd need to put in with coaching responsibilities that is a no-no for me.

| Has to be Noble for me who likes to play the forward dominated game which is also what we do but would tighten us up in other areas like defensive structures plus hes available and is a big name for attracting future players. He also did well at Bradford, Got Wigan out of the 4hit and got Crusaders into the play offs. He may not take us to the very top but even if he gets us to top six and playing consistely well thats a thousand times better than were we are at now. And i dont think he'd take any from the idiots at the top which has to be a good thing.

| But would the idiots employ him?
It's the obvious choice IMO till the end of the season, interview the others and go from there.

If we want to be competitive then noble is OK. If we want to be winners then it has to be an overseas coach IMO

Kinda agree with that. Noble would sort us out and bring in some good players and probably do a fine job over 2 years.
The thing for me is what overseas coach? Do we try for someone proven or do we try for a young guy with potential (not unlike Agar) like Mcguire or Brown?
