"Hull FC’s Nev Morrison is set to join Doncaster as a dual-registered player.
The U20s winger, come centre, has impressed in the first two games of the season with Hull and will now be handed the chance to cut his teeth at Championship level.
The paperwork for the move is expected to be completed in time for him to join up with Dons ahead of the weekend."

I agree it's a good leaning curve for them.

| Good move, we still don't do this enough IMO. I personally think it's a likely factor in why we don't have enough promising youngsters make the transition into SL quality players.

| The dual contract system has little benefit for the NL teams IMO a full years loan would be far better and result in the player getting more game time as they would be fully integrated into that team instead of a 'ringer'.

| the dual registeration is a lot better for young players espcially young first team players such as green, cunningham, kent who have proved themselfs at 20s level and need to make that next step up playing at a better level like the championship but also carry on with there full time training before they start playing super league. for championship clubs its great because they are getting good young potential super league players for free and helps them finacially and gives them more quality on the field, this needs to be used alot more if we are serious about producing good talent. great example is liam farrel who was on a young kid on a full time deal at wigan but wasnt playing goes to widnes on dual registration and comes back later on in the year for wigan a brilliant young player who plays every week now, im not saying it works for everyone but for say some one like green who looks a very good player needs to be playing at a better level now then 20s and to play championsip rugby would be great for him

did he go well? , good move for the kid will be alot tougher and harder playing championship rugby and the next level up from 20s rugby would like to see cunningham and kent go out on dual registration aswell. seriously this concept is very good and should be alot more with the younger kids for there development

Yes he did look good, scored a try, moved well and made a fair few off loads.
I am torn on the Dual Contract process, for the player in question I think it is great, however it could stifle our own player development. However at this time we do not have an academy from which we could pull our own player so can fill gaps that would otherwise be left
