| This forum is a bit depressing at the moment with everyone expecting the worst out of this season.
We have yet to win a game and don't look like seriously challenging right now.
However, I'd like to add a more positive view point.
We started to see some good signs against Huddersfield and anyone who watched the replay would agree that there were some lucky Huddersfield try's. Phelps arrival is not too far away which will enable players out of position to revert back to positions practised during pre-season.
Rovers have lost Dobson for 10 weeks and look to have serious half back problems.
Bradford have picked up some serious injury's in key positions.
Warrington have a few injury's which could take their toll further down the line
Saints have Eastmond who is more interested in staying fit for his move to union that helping saints challenge for honours.
Leeds have picked up injury's and are looking to have a similar inconsistent start as last season.
I really think that if we can get the basics right and have better luck with injury's we can hopefully get out of this bad patch and string some wins together to cement our top 8 position.

| This isn't an Agar out thread but just a realistic look at the condition of other teams compared to were we are right now

We have stooped that low we should now look to other teams miss-fortunes to feel some positivity -

As you state about Wire they have injuries but you would still fancy them most weeks to perform and take the points as they have built a very strong squad of players with fierce competition for places something we don't appear to have done, oh and they have a world class coach
As for Leeds Peacock,Maguire,Bailey,Cross,Webb,Ablett,Delaney, out at anyone time would hinder any team and although they lost to Quins i don't think they be too worried at the momment and at least they throw the ball about and play some enternaining rugby

Wow a top 8 position. We should be looking at top 4 not scraping the top bloody 8.

Hang on a minute. We've had seasons of misfortune while other clubs have had success. Cas and Catalans making the playoffs at our expense for example. It's all part of a long super league season.
I'm trying to make the point that everything looks all doom and gloom right now but come the mid-point of the season we may find that others are struggling just a little bit more more than us for results.

We dont have a right to make the top 4 mate. Wigan, Saints, Leeds, and Warrington are better teams than us in my opinion so to break into the top 4 this season would have been a very succesful season. I see us more as a 5th or 6th place team with our current squad.

Haha. I give up! I'm just trying to evaluate the season as a whole rather than looking at just 3 games.

I think you're not seeing that people aren't just judging Agar on these three games, that's how the club and the media are protraying it but it's not the case.

If we don't make at least 5th then Agar will have failed as we won't have progressed from last season. And TBH I don't see us finishing that high unless there are some radical improvements in our play, regardless of how unlucky other sides might be.

The long game, I think 3 years is a very long game and it still isn't paying dividends.

It's more than 3 years. Agar's reign just consolidates the problems we've been having since Bomber left.
