Mods. Firstly please don't delete this, infact can you sticky it, this thread is different from others, as it's a different topic, it's not a discussion about agar, it's a discussion about signing a petition, having us fans voices heard, and sacking him!

We already have 230 strong signatures, we need a lot more guys.

To sign the petition go to: www.agarout.com

When you have signed the petition, please like the facebook fan page:

www.facebook.com/#!/pages/AGAR-O ... 8227284293

We need as much support, the board seem not to respond to fans do they, but with me not having enough support to go and attack the board, we will never stand a chance will we?

Please help

thanks

I appreciate the sentiment, but the petition is very poorly worded. If it's going to be taken seriously it needs to be almost totally revamped.

Not everybody needs to write like their a member of mensa you know. The fact that he's done this and has 230 signitures on it to date means it has substance.

It's not getting stickied, in fact I am struggling to see why I would not just merge it with the boycott thread, in essence they are all about the same thing, Agar out.

Hi Paul,

Please can you leave it as a separate thread. The agar thread has so much stuff going on in it, it's that messy to keep track, and it's harder for me to keep people updated.

kind regards
lewis

Hi Lewis good to see someone being proactive I just think RG's point above was that when these sort of things are sent to the organisation to whom you wish to make a point you have to make sure that they have no chance of discrediting it by say finding fault with the wording! You should also consider cleansing it down when you have spoof entries from the half wits across the river on it. Names like Mick Vella ( will be instantly discredited because he can't write) and Mr Blobby ( Justin Morgan doesn't sign petitions!) also liked Brian Noble (unemployed) however on a serious note it does lose some credibility too when your own name is on it more than once! still at least your attempting to do something!

Sure. For a start, I think the bit about player recruitment has to go. Many people would argue that this has been one of Agar's stronger areas. Mistakes have been made, I think, but there have been some successes as well.

I think the bit about 'all other SL teams' having a top quality proven SL coach has to go as well, as it's not true.

I also thinki the statement needs to be less emotional. I appreciate that emotions are running high at the moment, but it doesn't come across well in a petition that's intended to be presented to the board.

I'd stick to a very general statement about how the off-field set up is not being matched by results (and performances) on the field and how Agar seems unable to get the best out of a decent group of players.

I've never drafted a petition before, but I'd go something along these linesWe, the undersigned, wish to petition for the immediate removal of Richard Agar from his position as Head Coach of Hull FC. We do so on the following grounds

That's just off the top of my head and others might have a better idea of how it ought to be structured than I. Any input is welcome...

It wasn't supposed to be an attack on the OP. Wilf had it right in his post below - if it's going to be taken seriously by those in charge (which is doubtful anyway unless we can get a couple of thousand signatures on there), it needs to be worded properly.

I wouldn't sign the petition as it stands but I would if it was reworded to RG's text and if the joke/multiple signatures were removed.

Very good. eusa_clap.gif I might add that we've not won a play-off game since 2007, that's all.

eusa_clap.gif eusa_clap.gif eusa_clap.gif eusa_clap.gif eusa_clap.gif eusa_clap.gif Very well structured and an excellent explanation of RA's failings, I have never been a coach knocker, but last weekend I made the comment about our second half performance being akin to previous second half performances when coaches have gone the following week and Friday night just hurt like hell and I really can't see any improvement without a new broom to ring the changes.
