| I have many rovers fans as friends/workmates when we discuss players they insist they would only take Tom Briscoe and Danny Houghton off us, then i ask them who has the best coach %100 say Morgan. Then i ask how we managed to finish three points above them last year, and they go quiet. How did that happen?

We have better players / bigger name players - They have a coach who can get more out of average players and a game plan. I hate to say but Morgan would push our squad to top 4. He would instantly sign a half back. The guy has an uncanny ability to take a hammering off Saints and then comprensively beat Wolves. He brings in unheard of players like Newton and Galea and builds teams around them yet they are probably on reasonable contracts compared to big name signings.
However any Rovers fan who claims they would not have taken from last years squad, O'Meley, Fitz, Briscoe, Berrigan, Houghton, Manu and Moa is taliking poop!!!

[quote="The Reason":3e09qe5x]Hi Andy
The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

| Newton and Galea are unheard of?
They've both won a grand final!
Dobson was a top sl player, Vella was a soo and test player, Webster a nz international.

| Morgan has won nothing...in fact he took his team backwards last season.
Agar has improved the his team and also made it to a challenge Cup Final.
Based on that information alone Agar is the best out of the 2.

From your list above I'd take O'Meley, Briscoe & Houghton.
Fitz is a great player but is nearing the end of a glittering career, I really like Manu as player but wouldn;'t take him infront of Galea and Newton and Berrigan may have been a big name but he never showed any of that in any f the games I saw him play and as a return on investment never paid off.
Moa is an odd one, looks good for FC but I don;t think he'd fit our team structure. I think his deficiencies in defence would outway his ability in impact if he came to us.
If thats talking poop then I apologise in advance..

What deficiencies in defence are they that you refer to about Moa? In all the games i have seen him play he is as strong in defence as he is in attack, he doesn't flap at a player when he takles them and they stop when he hits them, and then in attack it takes two or three to stop him everytime!

AS I say I've not seen a great deal of him only the sky games and the derbies but he seems in a similar mode to paleaasina in that if a team target him, two / three times in a row he will struggle to get into the line and tend to either leave a hole or give a pen away. I might be being harsh on him as I've maybe seen him play 7 or 8 times.

He was part of a team with a better defensive record then Rovers last year, I’m sure he could forget about running the ball up and miss a few more tackles if that would help him fit in better.

| Not sure why Rovers fans have a downer on Moa, was excellent last season and seems to get better each year, really excited about him this year, there are not many props (of his type) I would swap him for.
Great going forward, defence and offlaod. Much better player than Feka as he is better in defence and plays more minutes.
If he was in a better side he could be devestating.
Would get into Rovers 17 easily.

Did I say I had a downer on him, sure I said I don;t think he'd fit into our team, not because he's not good enough just that we play a different type of game. He will probably have a big year for you as you say he has improved over the last year. I personally couldn;t see him fitting in with our game play.

Did I mention you
I'm not sure what this style of play you are talking about?
Surley you want your props to make yards and defend well, this is what Moa does, added to this an offload and you have a much better prop than Wheeldon.
You would have to find a way to get him off quota, but I'm sure that wouldn't be a problem.

I've come to learn that delusion beats facts for Dobbins .
