A month ago I wasn`t sure whether we should let Hall go or not. Now I think we should keep him. Last night he had another great game, and for me he is better than Turner in every department. He is an opportunist, has pace, and can score from any part of the field, as well as having a very good kicking game. Is it too late for Agar to admit he was wrong and offer him a contract?
Last night, Agar preferred Berro at centre, and in a game where we were down to 12 men, he didn`t use Turner once, not even to give somebody a 10 min. break What does that tell us about Agar`s confidence in Turner!?

So do you think ur board and coach have made a big mistake yet again letting a decent player go like they did Brisco, they don't really learn do they, by what i saw of Craig last nite he looked pretty good few decent games under his belt he can only get better. ..

He's had enough opportunities for us mate to prove he's worth a new deal and sadly he has far too many poor games vs his decent ones like last night. I'm a huge fan of Hallys and have defended him on here numerous times but sometimes enoughs enough.

whilst I agree that Craig had a great game last night I think he was very lucky that he was only running back to tackle Burrow, as if it was any other player on the pitch, I doubt he would have had the strength to bring him down. Yes he had a good send off, No he is not a different player to what we have had all along

He stood up well last night and showed a confidence in defence I had not previously seen from him. He wasn't "great" though.

It was McGuire he chased down to tackle and as someone else already said he had a one on one with Eastwood he made.

Reece Lyne chased down Burrows.

If Hall is heading for Rovers will Agar pick him?

Briscoe had a mare in the last derby of 2007 when Rovers fans knew he'd signed & were chanting his name.

Short answer to gingerspice 'NO'

We have also released at various times Dixon, Higgins, Fletcher, Bailey, Lupton. Lee, Raynor, Thackeray and Wheeldon. None were or are good enough.

When we released Briscoe we had (imo) a better option in Motu Tony but could not foresee his SL career ending injuries.

Best of luck to Craig Hall wherever he ends up for next season.

Hall has aspects of his game that are very good but he still makes the same mistakes that he did 3 years ago though! Has serious confidence issues and these seem unlikely to improve. Will always be a player who can be bullied IMO if we are to improve then players of Hall's ilk need to be released. Agar has got it spot on here for me

ive said before Halls not good enough ,but the lads playing really well now the presure is off him ,maybe we should have sacked tansey for his off field antics and give hall the money and used the rest of tanseys money to get fielden in ,tanseys the problem in the team at the moment i think agar will keep hall at fb myself

Craig shouldn't want to sign for us or Rovers as at this stage of his career he needs to be somewhere he would have a shot at a starting spot.

I thought it was his best game for a while, paticularly defensively.

His problem is he can't do it consistently.

Based on his past record, if he plays against Rovers he will probably have a 'mare.
