A goalkicker ( whether that be Danny Tickle or any other ) has one minute to prepare before the referee has to stop the watch. It is no good baying for the clock to be stopped prior to this. The player can wipe the ball, change his tee, test the wind, even comb his hair if he wants but that first minute is his to prepare.

Wouldn't change a thing re Danny's kicking prep. My mate has developed a mantra relating to his pre-kick routine that MUST be chanted for the goal to go over

Tickle + Schifcofske + Kicking = ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Schifcofske used to get fined all the time in the NRL for taking too long to kick goals.

What did p!55 me off last night was when the Crusaders gopher ran on with a drink for Schifcofske but didn't bring a kicking tee with him and then just strolled back to the dug out for it, Childs should have said something to the pair of them. They were slowing the game down enough with the laying on as it was.
