| what are peoples thoughts on kyle briggs from featherstone??, seen him a few times this season and he looks like he could do a good job at either six or seven at super league level apparently some super league clubs sniffing round him and with our coach's roots i would say that we are one of them..

| The lad's a good player, as are a lot of the Fev team; they're going to struggle to hold onto a few next year. I'm not sure he's experienced enough to do a job at SL this season though.

If it's at the expense of Washbrook then yes, he's good enough. I can't understand why so many supporters rate Washbrook, he seems to have the 'golden boy' tag yet offers absolutely nothing.

To be fair , and worryingly he was one of the better players last night. He defended pretty well and got left one on one on the line when there should have been forwards or Tansey helping out. As always he worked hard. Effort is there but he's just not good enough for SL.

He was poor IMO. Playing out of position but poor. Crooke went straight through him before dropping the ball over the line but scoring anyway. He failed to get any width to the play. It's tough for him because he isn't a half back but that doesn't change how how played. And he wasn't alone. Briscoe, Manu and Tansey were the only players to emerge with any credit IMO.

He also pulled off a try saving tackle over the line once and generally defended well. He's not a half back though and has looked worse than average most of this year.

| I liked the look of Briggs in last Thursdays game . It was said that a couple of SL clubs are looking at him . I wouldn't be disappointed if we're one of them.

| I said on the 'Webbo' thread about getting a loan in from the Championship, sure Fev would let Kainy go for a bit of a fee.
Kain has SL experience with Cas and is a natural 7. Briggsy is a good player but does blow hot and cold and chucking him in at this time would be a big ask in my opinion.
Not sure there are SL sides looking at Briggs, he doesnt know about it, deffo plenty watching Hardaker though.
