| Important game on Friday, one as a top 4 team we should be looking for a comfy home win against them.
O Meley and Briscoe out but the team should really pick itself.
Tansey
Hall
Yeaman
Turner
Whiting
Washy
Long
Dowes
Houghton
Radford
Manu
Tickle
Fitz
Moa
Lauaki if fit (Burnett)
Cusack
Berrigan
If Houghton is playing we could bring Berrigan on at centre, stand off or LF.
Could go joint 3rd with saints if we win, and there injury hit team get beat by Hudds.
Win and Wakey lose to Wigan then that will put us 8 points above 9th position and more or less guarantee us a play off place.

I know Houghton played well last game but if would be better served coming off the bench and letting Berro start the game tbh. Also what if Horne is back? Does Washy miss out?

Is Horne back, guess we might find out later today, I would give him another weeks rest, bring him back for Hudds away.
Houghton needs to start, he is our best hooker at the moment and deserves to start after his recent performances, have ing Berrigan on the bench means that he can cover a number of positions if needed.
Personally I would start Berrigan at centre and have Turner on the bench, cant see that happening though.

| i think even without O'Meley and Briscoe the squad looks fairly strong. i would prefer to see Tuffour on the wing instead of Hall personally. he's been playing regular 1st team rugby (even if it's not super league) and could do with some 1st team action for us. i've never seen him play though so someone correct me if this is a stupid statement.

Not sure where all this 'Berro to centre' stuff comes from tbh. He has lost the extra yard of pace he used to have and would be wasted in the centres imo. Realistically the only position that would need covering would be hooker and Houghton is a far better option off the bench than Berro is so I would go with Houghton off the bench.

me neither but should be for the week after so someone will miss out if we don't pick anymore injuries.
I was thinking about that option too and use Washy from the bench.

| Seen Tuffour a few times, very quick and elusive, reminds me a bit of Richie Barnett Jnr. I would like to see him get a game and see how he goes, but there has been a few games where he could have been and Agar has chosen not to use him.
Shame J Briscoe and Lyne are injured as this could have been a game to give them another game.

Not sure about th pace, we have rarley had chance to see it over the last 3 years, I would see him as a Gidley type centre, creating a lot for his winger and scoring a few himself from close range.
I see centre as our weakest position (apart from the wing, but there is nothing we can do about that) at the moment, we are good at hooker, Horne should be back soon so SO is covered, so putting Berrigan there would improve the overall balance of the squad by putting a bit of class in the backs.

He doesn't want to play centre. He specifically came here to play hooker. And I'm not convinced that asking Houghton to play the full 80 minutes week in and week out is a good idea. If Houghton is going to be spelled then Berro is the man for that role.
