just wondering if any one has had any probs with the sponsor transfers on the home shirts. i bought my son a shirt about 6 weeks ago and its only been worn/washed a handfull of times and every transfer is peeling. has any1 else had the same and has any1 spoke to the club shop about said problem. bit gutted really cos hes only 5 and just managed to convert him from the dark side to black n white n now hes saying fc's a little bit rubbish because his shirts broke

Problems with a small number of shirts right from the start of the season. Latest batches of shirts tend to have the sponsor etc sewn on as well as just heat sealing because of the issue. Is your sons shirt sewn or heat sealed?

Take it back to the shop and theyll exchange it. Only a small number of the shirts have the issues.

As BDT says, take it back and they will exchange it, got mine replaced about 4 weeks ago but new one still has the heat sealed transfers, washed it twice so far and no problems.

Mine did the same.....Took it back to the KC, didnt even have to complain.....the shirt was swapped without hesitation. Now thats service!!!!

My advice, get one of the shirts with the sewn on sponsors.....They will last a lot longer than any transfer!

ya ther heat sealed. Didnt realise they had 2 styles when i bought it. Thanks for the advice guys il give the shop a ring n see if i can swap it for the sewn on style.

Didnt think they were still selling the heat sealed ones to be honest. They'd maybe ran out of the new sewn ones when you went in.

Did it leave any marks or any outline of where the sponsors were after they came off.

I prefer shirts with no sponsors so if it leaves no marks im going to let mine come of on purpose i know

Surprised that Hull are still selling the sub-standard ones despite, as you say, knowing of the problem. Might i suggest as a solution taking the shirts back and exchanging for a credit note until the sewn ones come into stock.

It was a strange one for Hull to go for thick cotton for home shirts. Leeds did the same a couple of years ago and they had the same problems.

My Daughter had to get a replacement because of the lettering coming off. The store at KC was very helpful. They will ask how did you wash it.

The issue as i know it mate is that 99 out of 100 shirts are fine and then 1 isnt due to faulty machinery heat sealing the badges etc. FC cant tell which 1 out of 100 is faulty until it's too late. The manufacturers have rectified it for next year i believe.

Replaced mine last week,Stick on Transfer on back came off.Replaced no hassle,Sponsors logo's now sewn on.

I have the shirt with the transfers on and the only problem i have with it is the flag on the front P&O transfer is fading.

I dont like the look of the ones sewn on.

Well mine came out of the washer tonight minus the ferries word on the front! Washed as per instructions! All other sponsors are fine.
I'm taking mine back on Tuesday next week.
