Highs:

Challenge Cup final 2005 - Say no more

Getting to our 1st Grand Final 2006 - showed great consistency that year

Sending Joey home in the playoffs

Signing genuine world class stars - Kearney, Swain, J Smith, Berro, Barnett

Seeing local homegrown kids develop - Horne, Cooke, King, Houghton, Washbrook

Thumping a genuine world class Saints side at the KC a couple of times

Steve Prescott 60m drop goal at Halifax

Seeing FC walk out at the New Wembley

Signing the likes of Dowes, Carvell and Raynor and transforming them into top SL performers

Lows:

McAlpine after the game scenes

Leaving the Boulevard

Not kicking on after the grand final 2006 - last 3 seasons have been poor

Cookiegate

42-6 Derby defeat

Bradford playoff defeat 71-0

Letting Shaun Briscoe go

Shaun McRae not winning a trophy despite having the best squad during this decade imo

Cas away last year - disgraceful performance

Most of the above, plus moving to the KC - felt like a mini Wembley at the time.

So the 1990's ran from 1990 - 1999 so the noughties run from 2000-2009 or i am getting confused!

Start at the beginning, we didn't start at year zero.

The noughtie run from 2001 - 2010

The performances of Jason Smith were my high point, what a player.

My personal low point last year wasn't the Cas game, though that was terrible. But it was Saints at the KC last year; where it just came home to me how far we'd fallen, Saints hardly had to break sweat to beat us, they didn't even have to play well and we never seemed capable of threatening them. There seemed to be an air of acievement from some FC players and fans because we didn't get thumped. A sad sorry evening.

How the hell was Briscoe going a low?

As for McRae...he talked a bloody good game but deliverd sod all with the best squad we have ever had...end of the day,he was crap as well.

Mcrae came to us when we were shockingly poor as a club and built us up to be a very respected club dont you remember the highs of 2003/4 with prescott/barnett/smith etc do you really believe it was kears team who won the challenge cup ffs that was mcraes team as soon as he left and kear took over the perfofmances were shocking we went from entertaining rugby to boredom overnight.

How can 2000 be the start of a new millennium but not even the start of a new decade


And 2000 surely is the beginning of the noughties, there's 3 of em in it!
