I want clarification because my understanding was that only Hull Kingston Rovers made staff redundant.

There's more to this than a simple redundancy. Sharp was also forced out by a senior coaching staff member and replaced by Moore.

Me too.......FC cant be making staff redundant, only clubs in financial difficulty do that!

Anytime is bad to be made redundant but with Christmas nearly upon us it s even worse, especially for a player and coach who has given his club many years loyal service.

I hope the Hull Daily Mail repeat the usual procedure and give the CEO a chance to explain these decisions in a question and answer format, to reasure the mass ranks of black and white faithful.

a club or company can make peaple redundant any time it doesnt have to have debt or trading problems it maybe caused by a job simply been not there anymore ,ie due to new tech equipment ,

Indeed they did, and were right.

A restructure doesn't mean there are financial 'difficulties'....efficencies are always looked at and maybe the structure needed re-jigging - value for money etc......that in general is good business sense.

Obviously it's tough on those who's positions are under review and ultimately go, fingers crossed all can find alternative employment or continued employment within the current organisation.

Dennis Moore is obviously taking over the overseeing of youth development. If he is good enough for aussie schools he's good enough for us.

The other redundancies will be to do with lowering over-heads to cope with the extra costs of borrowing £2 million for the training facilities.
