I was just reading that and it's a good article. It's nice to see Hull getting some recognition from the media outside the city and it emphasizes that Agar will have no excuses next year; his tactics, his team I hope everyone gets bhehind him and he can deliver.

I am optomistic about a good season. But top 4 is more likely, I reckon:
Leeds
Warrington
St Helens
Hull
If we finish there, win a playoff game and have a good cup run (semis at least hopefully) then I will be happy.

I agree with him to an extent, loking through next years squad and with a bit of good luck we could be right up there!
Our forward pack, both starting and interchanges, is in the top 3 in SL (at the moment). Our back 5 boasts plenty of international experience and two of the brightest prospects in SL. We have the leadership we have missed since Swain/Kearney left in the signings of Long and Fitz, we now have the agression is the form of Hame and Shrek. At halfback, we have the best scrum half of the SL era, which could spark Horney into life.
We have all the ingredients to challenge IMO, let's just hope that the team spirit will come over this off season and hope that we have more luck with injuries.

A professional coach should not really be wrapped in cotton wool and comforted. If he cant thrive and build on the pressure then is he really the right man? |

| We have already broken ito the top two, it's just a shame that was three years ago and we have have gone a little  backwards since then.
I would be happy to finish in the top 8, but with or squad we should be at least challenging the top 4.
Looking at Warringtons squad and with Tony Smith in charge for the full season I think they will finish 2nd behind Leeds. Saints will still be in the top 4, with us (hopfully), Wigan, Hudds and Rovers fighting for the last position. |

If Catalans manage to hold on to Greg Bird, I think they will be a major force next season, possibly knocking on the door of the top 2 spots
