| According to this HDM article, Hull (and a couple of other SL clubs) have made an enquiry about setting up a membership scheme similar to the one Hull KR launched earlier this yearhttps://www.sporthull.co.uk/headlines/HULL-KR-Rovers-lead-way-membership-plan/article-1367977-detail/article.htmlrl
How would you feel about such a scheme?

| I think its a great idea !
That is as long the club sends its members their membership cards early enough for them to make full use of them (Unlike the so called market leaders in this new illustrious scheme)

| Great idea it rewards the loyal fans.
I hope we have to pay £60 in order to freeze season ticket prices.

| Not for me thanks. I hope we're not in the situation of needing a shedload of extra cash in a hurry and need to charge fans £50+ on top of season tickets. Interestingly my season pass price has been frozen for next year.
Unless of course the £400000 (approx) is used to pay back the board and enable us to get a new one

| Although my OP was trolling, Hull wouldn't have to run the scheme exactly like Rovers. In principle do you think membership/loyalty schemes are worth considering? I wouldn't want Rovers to dismiss an idea just because Hull had done it first - we'd still be playing RU ffs.

In principle no. Don't really see the need. What extra benefits need to be provided to make it worthwhile to a fan to join? Discounts just mean you're spending even more money. In the current economic climate people will not just throw more money at a sporting club unless it's much more than "worth it" to them.
I currently have a pass on the "Gold Scheme" (or something) that gets me a padded seat in the West Stand (in shouting distance of the director's box ), a free programme, a carpark space and access to the Kingston Suite before and after matches. I don't want to have to pay any more unless I'm going to get more.

Wouldnt want it. I think buying a season pass is loyalty enough.

| I think it stinks. Paying money so you can recieve discounts which can only be redeemed by spending more money. If you read the 'benefits' in the Rovers scheme you would realise it's just a money making excersise. If Hull Fc ever took up such a scheme and I lost my seat at the KC beacuse of it I would never attend a Hull FC match again, FACT!

Quite right perhaps we should get straight what happened here though. I contacted an emloyee of the organisation concerned with setting uop the scheme for Rovers to find out about it to do an article in a future Dentists Diary. Read the article in the Mail again we are no one of the clubs interested, we apparently rang the organisation that is running it for Rovers, out of interst to see what it entails not to say we were intersted in having such sceme. In the future who knows but at present it is just mischief making thats all!
If we do got for it, it is not all roses and Ihope we consider the hidden costs of connecting the turnstyles to the system and the software implications that entails, it is quite costly and can be easily missed I believe!!!!

So there's no need for a seperate scheme, thats kind of my point.
Hope this is discussed at th fans forum and put to bed as had been mentioned. I'd be strongly against this.
Its like saying to buy car insurance from x company you need to be a member of x companies private scheme. It does then give you discounts on other products from x company. What ifi dont want other products from x company but simply want my car insurance?
