A poor start but I was pretty proud of the second half display and the way we got back into it. Imo it shows firstly that, contrary to belief, the players do still have a bit of pride and that they do have respect for Agar. It also showed that if the forwards lay a good platform we do have players that can create trys. Whiting looked good with ball in hand and safe at the back Moa bent the line every time he took it in and Houghton was Robyesque running from dummy half. On the other hand Graham Horne is not a centre imo (gets cought out to easily against good opposition). This could maybe be forgiven if, like Craig Hall, he was a dangerous attacking option, but he is not. Thorman, whilst he didn't particularly do anything wrong, looked pretty ineffective. Presuming Richard Horne and Thacks won't be fit next week I would like to see the following side next week and for the forseeable future:

I personally think the teams been carrying Rich Horne all season and when he went off we suddenly had 13 instead of the normal 12 players and that made a big difference. With him out i think we'll improve

the other problem is that in recent years we've tended to lift our game for the 'big' games, and then do very little in games the players see as 'lesser' games (ie our next two Cas and Celtic)

I hope they can prove me wrong and carry on the improved display, but i'm not convinced.

I thought Lee Richie had an interesting point after the game. He said that when Hull play off the cuff they can look like a good quality side, however there is no structure to the play. To me this is all down to coaching.

Agree with that. For me, we shouldn't be playing Thorman at all. He just seems to get in the way.
