| The main water pipe on Clough rd has burst, 25 inches of pipe has gone missing .
Clough rd is closed both ways and Beverley rd from Clough rd to Sculcoates is also now closed both ways.

A friend has just called and told me about this.Haworth Arms has flooded apparantley.
How ironic on the 2nd anniversary of the floods.

Put it this way, they wont be able to fix it without digging a bloody great section out, turning off the supply, they'll maybe even need cranes etc if it really is a 25inch piece that has gone.

If I were the householders I'd be on to my insurance company and staying in a hotel at the water companies expense. Assuming of course they learnt their lesson last time and actually have insurance now!
Difference between a burst pipe and rain is that someone can be proven culpable. |

do you mean a 2foto (and a bit) length, or the pipe that has burst is 2 foot (and a bit) Diameter. which is huge for a waterman.
