If Lauaki has applied on a Tongan passport will he qualify as an emerging nations signing and not count on the 5 overseas rule???

Should do. Which means he'll go on our overseas player list as a non-Fed trained player, but not on our quota.
Providing we submit the correct documents to the RFL of course. Since we seem to have been blissfully unaware of his Tongan credentials I'm wondering if we have. |

Just read an article in the Mail today stating that his first application was turned down as Lauaki hadn't taken an English test. So im guessing someone's at fault for that. Despite that... we should have an answer on his second application within the next 10 days.

Course there's a rush, the sooner he's here the better whether he's injured or not, he can see how our team play how we train and we can start to gel him into our routines. And the rehabilitation can be started asap! |

5 random trundles up the middle and then a pin-point kick to a winger or fullback isn't something that just happens you know !! It takes a hell of a lot of hard word in training !!!

I know what you mean, but i don't think we have. We had a non-fed spot available at the time so why wouldn't we have said it at the time? Oh wait, we're hull fc. |

Remember people saying about having 3 Tongan forwards. |
