yet I can guarantee the club will claim we have 'turned a corner' if we played anyone but Salford or Celtic tonight we'd have been beaten convincingly.

Problem is, is that it wont just be the club it will be 75% of the supporters who feel we have turned the corner.

I quite agree, it was the same old boring predictable rugby we've all come to expect and a better team would of beaten us. Come to think of it, if Salford had kicked all their goals, they would have.

Don't think we have turned the corner but we have to give Agar more of a chance - what if an experienced coach came in and didnt win his first 5 games; would you want him sacked then as well ?

Knowing our board if we do sack Agar we will most probably go for the cheap option and appoint Sharp

I have to wonder whether the tone of certain posts would have been different if Myler had taken that ball with our line gaping. A win is a win and I'm glad of the two points, but it was anything other than convincing.

There were some positives, though. Calderwood had another good game, and I reckon he and Whiting can form a decent partnership on that side. Tommy Lee did well and Horne looked much safer at full back than we've been used to in recent weeks.

the win changes nothing at all so true and the way sharp was dressed and agar tonight at salford you would think sharp was our coach not agar.
