When we were told about moving to the KC we were told it would mean we could sign better players, so why the feck hasn't it happened?

Me too, i don't think we have a divine right to win
But with the right investement in players over the last few years we could be top of the tree again, no doubt
Our recruitment has been poor, too many average players signed on too much money imo

Can't really rationalise it, but I'd always pick McMenemy, on the bench if not in the starting 13. Not the best player but the sort of niggly $hit character we could really do with. Under-utilised kicking game as well.

Wouldn't pick tickle or manu in front of (a fully fit) chester or mcmenemy
Likewise eagar was a better centre than yeaman is and logan offers much greater presence than cusack so would be my choice. swain v berrigan is a difficult one as I don't believe we've see the best of berrigan in his time with us

I think thats why so many of us supporting Hull for so long are finally getting a bit disolusioned with it all. All this grade a bollox only washes for so long

| Quote: "swain v berrigan is a difficult one'"
Swain is absolutely miles ahead of Berrigan. He was the top tackler more than once in the NRL and in Super League, with his missed tackles being a rarity. He was also a real leader of the pack on the pitch giving direction to the team which has been missing since he left. Berrigan may be a good player but he is not in Swain's class as a hooker.
