they scrapped that rule a couple of seasons ago, (presumably so Ganson could ref the finals that Saints made an habit of getting to).

how did he give the drop goal ,it was a punt must have been a good foot off the ground utter

We had Thaler (from wakefield) against wakefield last season but i don't think that had anything to do with him giving them a penalty try

I sat there in disbelief questioning my interpretation of the rules, thinking that a punt must be allowed after all and that it was me who was in the wrong.

i agree the officals were dire but lets face it twas for both teams

I thought the ref kept us in the game in all honesty as any 50/50 call seemed to go our way.

I thought he seemed to go that way in the first half, one or two calls in the second went out our way.

Overall he did not have a lot to do.

Plenty of people around me thought the same.
