Now i understand this afternoon was a poor performance by all but Calderwood keeps persistantly dissapointing me, He seems to go down all too easy and seems more at home patting the ball back than trying to take it with both hands. I know we are all full of emotion at the minute but when Raynor gets back i really think he is going to struggle to get into the team on merit. But with our current system of picking players on name he will over Briscoe whom i think is the better winger at the minute. I know i'll get slated saying he has no quality ball but good wingers make there own oppertunities which i really dont think he does.

It's seriously starting to annoy me now. When the ball was thrown back (can't remember who by) to nobody and we lost about 15 yards, the ball came out to Horne I think. He took it out wide to try and cart it up again and somebody behind me started slagging Calderwood off for being on his wing!
It's interesting that when Briscoe returns the ball, whether he breaks the tackle or not there's warm applause. With Hall and Calderwood on the other hand, people seem to immediately be looking for things to criticise no matter what they do.

Which winger was it that cost us a try by failing to deal with a kick into the in goal?

To add to that, if a few of the others were 'trying' as hard as Calderwood we might not be in the state we currently find ourselves in. |
