We have made a great start to the Superleague season but our form has dipped over our last 2 games. Personally I think the challenge cup round has come at a great time and I am hoping for a confidence boost from this game.
Lets not forget our form of last year was terrible n yet we still made it to the final. So with 5 Superleague sides definately going out this year surely we must fancy our chances!

Yes we have not played well in our last 2 games but this is the C.C, and it gives us a great chance to get those 2 poor performances out of the mind. As you say with the 5 super league teams going out it gives us another great chance to have another good cup run.

i think our cup run last year affected our league form, as it did in 05

therfore i wouldnt be too concerned at dipping out

A Cup Run may well paper over the cracks again, but a day out at Wembley would be nice.

Any final brings a certain amount of Kudos to a club and city but personally I would rather not have a long run in the CC and play less games , thus less injuries and have a real crack at SL this year

We are not yet good enough to "have a crack at SL" the CC is our only possibility of success this season and should be prioritised accordingly.

Another season or two of sorting out Peter Blunt's legacy is required yet.

I would take cup glory all the time, would be nice to do SL but no team would turn down silverware.

Agree !! Kear took our squad backwards but Peter Blunt was far better at it !! He tooks us twice as far backwards at break-neck speed
