Apologies for the inconvenience caused tonight when a portion of your commentary was interrupted by Hull KR commentary which went back and forth for a few minutes.

We had a situation where the links for both Hull FC & Hull KR games were broadcasting the same commentary so we were trying to rectify it.

We are provided a line by an EXTERNAL company to enable us to stream 2 commentaries via our different frequency options but only one commentary was being fed down both.

I won't bore you with the details but it was an issue with the line we were supplied.

Anyway, apologies once more.

TBF, I think we're lucky to get any feed at all, its frustrating (particuarly when you can't get to Hull because of Friday nights!!!!!haha) RH gets a lot of stick on here but to be able to get full commentary on [ievery[/i home and away game is worth the license fee alone.

Now - if you can just arrange for Gwyllum to never commentate on one of our games again...

........really disappointing coverage by Radio Humberside tonight. I reckoned I managed to only listen to 20 mins of coverage of Hull FC tonight. To have an internet link which switches coverage several times from Hull FC to the dark side is a joke. FACT.

No problems for me at all - I knew that DAB purchase would come in handy.

Commentary fine for me too, especially the 'Doc - far better than KCFM

No problem for me my coverage of the game was not interupted.

Mind you being sat in the stadium watching it is a major start

I think the fc fans being graced with hkr commentry on a stunning victory should not require an appology

While you're on here mike, can you please explain why RH always have post match interviews with rovers players but not Hull's?

For home games in particular, it's simply because Richard Agar doesn't come up to the commentary position for the post-match interview so Doc has to go downstairs to the Media Room to conduct that.

By the time that is done, if he was to wait around for a player as well we wouldn't get Rich's out before the end of the programme as he has to climb all the way back to the top of the West Stand. Despite having a second ISDN point in the tunnel, we are not permitted the access to that by Hull FC which IS afforded us by Hull City.

We'd love to do both but the coach interview is ALWAYS the #1 priority, something I'm sure you'd agree with.

It's purely an issue of timing. Not sure what the situation's going to be away from home as last week wasn't an ideal benchmark as the set-up wasn't the best although I believe it was another case of the interview area being nowhere near the commentary point.
