TBF they've got to re-coup the costs for those "heroes of Hull" photo things as you go in (joking). A 67% increase since last year is shocking IMO.

Taking into account your location, your support is admirable and costs you a few quid over the year, so i can see how £5 to park the car is a bit of bummer, I dont know if it still runs, but is the park and ride from Priory Park an option for you??

| I used the Park and Ride last night and was suprised when we got back on the second bus how few cars were in the car park.
The price of the bus has gone up to £2 return which for a car full would be £8 so Walton Street would still be cheaper.
I'm sure when the stadium opened it was either £1 or £1.20 on the bus. Thats a massive increase in 5 years and might just be the reason the car park wasn't full.
Got to say through that price aside it's a superb service.

| Its because City is a fiver to, its the SMC decision I decided not to park there this year too, Duffen has to pay for his Dubai trips and his Lamborghini Diablo someway.

On street parking is all well and good if the pocket hitlers, sorry parking enforcement officers, aren't patrolling the area as it's an all parking permit area.
Thankfully they are more keen on Tigers days then ours. I saw a Police car get ticketed down Sandringham Street not so long ago.

for the first time in years i went in car instead of motorbike (bit slippery) finding an on street parking place was a nightmare because every where was covered by the need for parking permits, it must be a nightmare for away supporters. ah well next time i'll be on bike again and FREE parking right outside the stadium

| i wouldent mind paying a fiver if there was actually an organised way of getting the traffic out at the end! rather than the free for all. Some of that blame lays with the council though, as i do believe the SMC asked to make it one way on City match days years ago (ie 2 lanes going each way out of the ground) but it was refused.
we've abandoned the car park, and it looked last night that many others have done the same.

| Not everywhere is covered by parking permits, I parked down Boulevard as usual on the main road, this isn't covered by the permits. There were 2 officers stood outside the church when we arrived waiting to hand out tickets. If you get there early enough it's no problem.

| I also dont get why Walton Street wasnt widened years ago, one extra lane to filter into the car park (which of course is used nearly all week for markets, park and ride etc) would make a huge difference.
