Listened to the game as I couldn't get down even though maters b/day this weekend..
Sounded like an entertaining game but going by the tators Rovers were absolute gash and we just did enough to win comfortably..
Thoughts on the performance overall?

Defence was absolutely brutal.
Rovers couldn't hold on to the ball when met in the tackle. Ellis forced about 3 errors and after seeing Green hit Keating and how the boys reacted to that I'd have put my house on us going on to get the win.
Rovers offered nothing, but that was down to superb defence.

Put it this way, you can have a week off moaning.

Rovers were terrible but that was down to your speed into the tackle scoreline flattered us to be honest

I'm in South Wales tonight and listened online, great win. Radio Rovers is becoming an embarrassment for the BBC lost count on the times FC were refereed to as "Them"

great post. Some of our own fans will play it down as that's what they do best but Hull sickened rovers from minute one. The radio is bound to be all about kr but Radford was spot on. It was men against boys at times our physicality was immense. Had we kept things a bit simpler in the second half we'd have had 40.

Our defence was brutal and we dominated the forward battle...they had two kick on the 3rd 4th tackle just to get terriority....they created naff all

Bit of both IMO, we played with a lot of passion and had a great defence...but at the same time it still looked like a 'bottom 6' clash with some poor passing & kicking and a lot of errors from both teams.

Still I bet Radford & Pearson will sleep a lot better tonight!

Very frustrating that we've not seen much of that all season and that we'll still likely finish below a poor team like Rovers.

Standout moments were Ellis' two hits. The one on Gardner was superb and not sure who it was who he cut in half early on. Dont know who sliced hodgson down under our sticks but that was a beast and Sa cleaning out keating. But the most amusing of all was Burns' surrender on his own 10m line windy get.

Thought Lineham outpacing Caro was the highlight of the night for me,didn't realize he was that fast.

Felt we played the conditions really well. The ball was like a bar of soap and we targeted it in the tackle forcing lots of errors. Our defence was tremendous and Watts and Ellis really fronted up! Special mention to Talanoa who seen to run the ball out at least twice every set

Convinced he was getting caught from the half way line!
