#HullDailyMail reports #HullFC have formally offered Tom Briscoe extended deal. Expecting decision from player early in the New Year.
Would be great to keep Tom long term, I just hope his mind isn't already made up.

I hope if we do keep him its not on 'huge money'. As good as he is it doesn't make sense using a large part of the cap on a winger.

I believe the club know that he has his heart set on going to Oz and they have made their offer now for two reasons:
1. to convince us that they did everything reasonably possible to keep him. I'm sure we would all like him to stay, but not at any price,
2. to get the matter sorted one way or the other as soon as possible in order to get with recruitment for 2014 with, or without, Tom.

Laughable isnt it, all those years this forum imploded with the "no comms" gang shouting about it, now we get more than ever and they are the same ones complaining 
if AP / FC were to invent an indestructable kevlar flask there are those on here who would look for a hole in it  |

think its more likely that PG knows he is an explosive game changer , young and british and he wants to keep him so offered him a cracking deal to see if we can get him to stay, there are few better places that Oz for a young man to go and experience life away from the UK so why wouldnt he be tempted to go !!
(maybe only Hong Kong is better  )
But as a RL player he could be a HUGE star out there......

I don't think there's a chance in hell he will be here past next season, which is a shame. On the otherhand we already have his long term replacement in place, in young Lineham.
