| Sorry, I don't know who else to ask. I'm hoping someone will be able to answer my question.
I've got a fish, a black molly (tropical). It seems to be killing my other fish (we've had water tested a lot recently and all is fine).
I want rid of it as we've now lost 8 fish in four weeks. I don't want to give it to anyone as I know it will just kill their fish. I haven't got a reciept for it anymore so cannot take it back to the pet shop.
Does anyone know how I can get rid of it, besides killing it?
(Sorry, I know this is a rugby forum but I'm desperate and don't know where else I can get my question answered).

| Thought it was a flashback to the Tigers.
The only answer is to put it in with other mollys, even then they spend all day chasing each other around.

Those Fish out stickers can still be seen on various lamp posts throughout the city!

It is with other mollys, well one other molly. I bought five and only two have survived (never trust pets at home!).
It chases my guppy fish around the most, one of which seems to have a small tail but my smaller fish are dying (i.e. cherry barbs, neons,).
I think I might just get my mam to scoop it out and flush it when I'm at school but I'd feel guilty about killing it.

The snag with neons is every other bigger fish looks at them as food.Best bet is to give the molly back to the shop,I`m sure they would take it for nothing.

| Frisby's 113-115 Sculcoates Lane.
They will usually take unwanted fish.
I have taken a few fish there for out growing my tank or for been too agresive.

It's not really the neons he's going after, it's the guppys and the other molly. Also, the fish we've lost the majority of is the Cherry Barbs.
I'll try Pets at Home tomorrow see if they would be willing to take it back. I don't want my money back, I just want a tank FULL of fish that are alive, rather than floating at the top.

Thanks for that! I'll pop round tomorrow.
I've got a few ideas of what to do now. It would be better of in a tank with either other mollys or bigger fish really and I'm more into the tiny, colourful ones (only got the molly as there was some black some white get a mix and they're FC colours.).

| As others have said, a shop should hopefully take it in.
Failing that, if you are going to have to resort to killing it, the least distressing way to do it is put it in ice water. It'll just effectively slip into a coma and die. Freeze a bag of water until it's slushy, drop the fish in and then continue to freeze it.
