Without wanting this to turn into a slanging match, can anyone realsitcally see us winning a GF with these 2 in charge?

Maybe depends if we can get a couple of decent signings next season, which would include a top scrum half.

If our recruitment was right then yes I believe they have the potential to get us to a GF and win it. It might not be the most attractive rugby to watch but I believe they can be successfull. Then again I would say that with most coaches in SL, with the right players it becomes easier. That said I would still replace them at the end of the season if I had the choice.

I think next year will be make of break for them, if they get the recruitment right for 2010 and we still fail to impress then the club would have no choice but to get rid, hopefully we do get the recruitment right and kick on and challenge for silverware.

Echo your thoughts there Paul, we've attracted Fitzgibbon i know i may bang on about it people may think his best times have gone, but personally think for us to attract such a signing is still an achievment and if the club go the right way about it, we could come away with a huge signing i.e. a scrum half.

But thats wishing this season our wishes havent come true, far from it, but i beleive our team and our club are in good hands and i dont care what anyone else thinks on our day we can beat anyone, and attract anyone, we just have top be doing the right things and personally i think its only round the corner.

Agar himself claims to have had little to do with our winning run. The players, having got rid of Kear, knuckled down and fought for each other. There were no significant changes to the team or the way they played. Agar's contribution was to basically stand back and let them get on with it.
