| I guess any of you looking on the Cas forum page may have seen we've been linked with your ex-player Brett Seymour.
I know he obviously had is off-field issues, and hopefully he's dealing with them.
On the field, would you guys rate him as a good signing? Obviously he didn't have the best of times and is seen as quite a risky signing for us replacing Rangi if it comes off - especially in a year when we'll be fighting to stay up, so it's a bit of a gamble many fans think.
P.S. Best of luck on Saturday, will be cheering for you guys!  |

Don't think we saw his best at Hull, think he was playing injured most of the time. Has to be half decent to make it in the first team in the NRL, so would hope he could find a bit of form.

If his issues are sorted and he settles in, you will have a descent player. You don't play that many games in the NRL if you haven't got it. His issues plus the pressure for him to perform tipped the edge. At Castleford he wont have that sort of pressure as he had at Hull for him to perform, so as long as he beds in i think he will do ok.

What you are trying to say he wont get the abuse he got off hull"fans". He followed a long line of players who the hull fans got on the back of,dykes,craig hall,chris thorman,and of course coaches peter sharp,john kear and richard agar.
Seymour was probably never 100% fit for hull and guilty of trying to hard to appease the critics.Good luck to him if he signs for you.! |

If it turns out to be true, good luck to him. I sincerely hope he's a great success at Castleford.Could see at times the guy had undoubted talent but it didn't work out at Hull.With what he and his wife have been dealt they deserve to come out of it the other side.I'll be watching his career from now on and hope he flourishes and does well wherever he goes.
