I know its The Sun, but is this a concern for Agar. A player who is clearly not pulling his weight yet interesting Wigan. If he goes and proves to be a hit it may well highlight Agar's deficiencies. Equally what can the pies see that we can't?
I wish him well but certainly won't lose any sleep if he goes. Been a waste generally over the past 2 + years.

When you watch Lauaki play rep rugby it is like watching a different player, he is quick for a big lad and good with ball in his hand....We have used him wrong imo.
Also his entertainiment value has been top drawer, I am undecided which is my favorite, the Burrows incident of the let me see if I can drill this KR players head into the KC pitch

| Back when he had his aggression and got in a fight every few minutes he played a lot better than how he does now that he's been 'calmed down'. If a club can return his agression to him whilst still being able to keep himself in check and not start fighting then they have a good signing on their hands.
If he does leave Hull, which I think that he will, then I have to thank him for the Burrow incident and for that handoff on Pryce.

| I'm 100 percent sure that if he moves on we will see a totally different far more effective player.. He is a shining example of Agars coaching inadequacies, his performances have steadily become more and more average under his guidance..
Anyone remember the player that single handedly brushed off half the saints team to cross the line on that foggy night... Where's he gone??

Lets not turn this thread into another anti Agar thread, when Hull signed him all the reports i read on the Warriors forums warned us of the pitfalls of Lauaki, whilst at the Warriors his form was very inconsistant and nothing seems to have changed while hes been at Hull.

Great post.
It's easy to blame agar but apart from about 10 games in 3 years I've been disappointed with lauaki.

Not if he signs for us he wont. We'll play him in the front row, tell him his hands will be cut off if he off loads and remove any heart he has.
Has all the attributes to be a good player except his temperement lets him down, far too easy to wind up and become a penalty machine.

| The last few games of his first season and the start of his first full season he was awesome to watch, spraying defenders everywhere and ripping teams apart. Since good friday last year when he got penalised by Silverwood (I think) to high heaven and only had one spell, he's been nowhere near the same player.

“We will not accept a top eight finish as a barometer of supposed success at any point in the future whilst I am the owner of this club.
Thats why you got the Bullet Agar...Adam Pearson wants winners...not useless gits like you.

| In my opinion with regards to Lauaki i think of him as a Rolls Royce used to plough fields. Totally played the guy wrong and i bet nobody is as more frustrated with the sheer bloody brilliance of Agars ability to fluck things up than the players.
