I would like to pass on my Christmas greetings to many people I have stood with, drank with and argued with over the years. Its never been easy supporting the black n whites, but I have always found the comradeship of the family of fans to be honest and genuine.

Post office has ruined christmas. It's official. The sooner they privatise it the better. There used to be a postie went in our local and he used to boast that he only worked 4 hours a day and got paid for 8

If you think privatisation will see the retention of a universal service, then you're sadly mistaken. Instead of six deliveries a week, you can look forward to a couple but you'll have the added feature of a 30 mile drive to join a queue of 200 other people, all waiting for their parcels to be found at the regional sorting office. When letter delivery costs are dependent on the location of the sender or recipient.

If you view that as an improvement, then you're even barmier than I thought
