| Some not mentioned yet...
Cookie at Cardiff for obvious reasons
Shaun Briscoe's 4 tries at Bradford
Jason Smith at London when he could have taken the 2 to tie the game, but thought we were 4 behind so he took the tap and scored the match winner.

| Just thought of another one (which is tough for me since I've been living outside the UK for most of the noughties, that and I've got a memory live a sieve):
Richard Horne's match winner in our last season at the Boulevard against Wigan. We were hanging onto a well earned 2 point lead by a thread against a determined Wigan attack. It seemed inevitable that Wigan would score. Then Cookie made a great break, Horney hot on his heals latched onto his pass and was away under the sticks. Fanstastic.

Horney scored under the posts at the scoreboard end and I remember it was a significant result beating Wigan at the time.

| Can't believe I'm the first to mention this one...
Prekkie's 80-metre effort against Saints at the KC.

| Would have to say Prekkie try against Saints.
Also Richard Horne versus Leeds at the Boulevard in 2002. It was a length of the field team effort including a one-two between Matt Crowther and Graham Mackay.
You'd have to mention Motu's at Cardiff too.

You beat me to it but Prescott's was one of the first to spring to mind for me.
1 - Steve Prescott v St Helens, 2003 at the KC, Hull 30 St Helens 6 - Steve raced 80 metres to dive flamboyantly over the line for a spectacular try.
2 - Paul Cooke v Leeds, Challenge Cup Final 2005, Hull 25 Leeds 24, Cooke dummies the Leeds defence and the rest is history. This try just has to be included due to the sheer magnitude of what the try meant.
3 - Richard Horne v Bradford 2006, Hull 19 Bradford 12, Play off semi final. Only 3 tackles into the game Danny Washbrook exploited a gap created by a neat drop of the shoulder to send scrum-half Richard Horne over for a 50-metre try with less than a minute of the match being complete.
4 - Motu Tony v Bradford 2006, Hull 19 Bradford 12, Play off semi final. Motu Tony timed his run to perfection to gather Horne's kick from a scrum on halfway to sprint away to the corner putting Hull in the driving seat for a Grand Final appearance at Old Trafford.

| Has to be Prescotts try against saints, when he beat the "fastest" man in super league at the time Darren Albert.
Also two of the trys at cardiff scored by Motu Tony and Paul Cooke. The tony try was great play from Motu. And the cooke try, well for a player to score the try that brought the Challenge Cup back to hull just has to get a mntion.

It has to be Cooke at Cardiff. Sitting in our own 20 mtr (as I remember it) with very few minutes remaining - I had my head in my hands knowing that we didn't have enough time to score against Leeds. Suddenly, we're up at the other end, McMenemy's neat kick is fumbled (by Calderwood?) and we have the ball near their try-line with six to go. Soon after, in front of the Leeds posts, Horne switches the direction of play for no particular reason, Cooke spots the chubby lad in front of him in the line and does him to go over the try line, hand raised triumphantly as he goes behind the posts and drops on the ground. Everyone around us is cheering like crazy people until someone says "he hasn't kicked it yet!" Then thousands of pants are pooed simultaneously before Brough kicks the most important conversion of his career to date. Then I think we all stayed behind after the whistle for what seemed like an hour. As we left the stadium and walked past the bars full of Leeds supporters they all applauded us. We had a great night out in Cardiff that night mingling with supporters from all clubs but specifically FC and Leeds - what a memory. That's why it's Cooke's try for me!
