| I'm not really sure whats going on at the Kc recently, but the atmosphere seems to be very flat. I remember at the boulivard we used to chant from minute 1 to 80, that seemed to fade slighty when we moved to the KC.
I go to away games regular, and its always rocking in the Hull end, yet when at home its fairly quiet, compared to recent years. I was wondering if you guys had noticed, and if you can think of anything we could do get it back to the intimidating days.
Hull are playing well at the moment, playing some good rugby and importantly, winning games, so the players and staff are doing their bit, we should be upper our games for them now.

OLD FAITHFUL PAL OF MINE: |
|
| I agree to a certain extent. The Widnes game was particularly quiet but maybe because it was just so easy it is hard to be enthusiastic/excited when [ianother[/i try is scored!!
The Saints atmosphere was superb but again governed by events on the field and the intensity of the occasion. I'm sure come April 6th the atmosphere will be rocking

| Barring the derby games there is rarely any atmosphere at the KC. You get the occasional game that the crowd lift for, but it is a rarity these days.

The Agar era will take a bit longer to fade from the memory, and even though the decrease in crowds since say 2007 has only been 2-3K on average, that 2-3K can make a big difference in the KC. Generally with 13/14K in the ground the South and East stands are full and this increases the noise.
I hope this year brings the fans (and the teams) confidence back, and Ellis' signature should result in big pass sales next year.

Oh dear, another with selective memory loss.
The atmosphere at the boulevard was diminished significantly when the 3d stand capacity was reduced in the 1980's. It was further reduced when the 3d had seats put in it.
Apart from the derby games, most games against Leeds and the odd important game (certain cup games, the Sheffield game at the end of 1999). The atmosphere was non existent at the boulevard.
To even suggest it was chanting from minute 1-80 is a plain untruth.

Completely agree !! Recovering from Halfwit Agar's era will take some time, even though he had a couple of blind unconditional "friends".
A really good sign of Fubar's miserable tenure being totally removed from recent memory will be when Wolfie admits to removing Agar's photo from his bedroom wall.

| You also have to take into account at away games we are mostly stood or sat together so are going to generate more noise.
KC we are in three different areas!

Totally and utter wrong. Me and all my friends that go now, only go because the Boulevard's atmosphere hooked us in the 90's. We are a minority that would happily play in the lower division if we replicated the 90's atmosphere of the Boulevard. Standing in the reduced 3d stand represented some of the happiest times of my life, and several ex players still speak about it with awe. I remember the game where we sang "Super Siggy's barmy army" for an entire half, and we regularly sang up to 10 different songs, cohesively and in tune(ish). 2 of our group have quit going to the rugby because they realized they went for the 3d's atmosphere as much as to watch the rugby.

| The score on Sunday was 58 - 10 So the Atmosphere would be flat .If a score is close that when fans start to
cheer and sing .I go to away games and the fans get behind their team plus most times we are outnumbered and the players need our support .Let face it even the ref had an easy game on Sunday, he couldn't get much wrong

Spot on. Not forgetting the years when we had sub 5000 crowds.
The atmosphere at the KC has often been far better than we had in the last 10-15 years at The Boulevard.

And some of those days of sub 5000 crowds gave us better atmos than 12000 at the KC.
Singers stood together, there was history and soul at the Boulevard.
Yes the first piece of Threepenny being pulled down for seats ripped a hole in the atmos, but the last wooden bit and its replacement were still special times.
Teams used to hate playing away at Boulevard, it was both "least and most fave ground" in Q&A
Now the KC is fave due to the pitch and facilities.
Yay, we dont put the s up anyone anymore
And as for singing for 80 mins, we didnt. It was longer, the noise would crank up 20 mins pre kick off. (anyone remember "bring on the FC"icon_wink.gif
All we have now is a gimp telling us what stand we are in

| It would probably help if they didn't play crappy pop music at full blast for an half an hour before the game.
