If we beat Wakefield on Thursday (and that is not a certainty) would you prefer a Wigan win meaning beating wire following week we win LLS. Or a wire win meaning we definitely have a home semi?

Been racking my brains and I can't decide the best outcome was wondering on other people's thoughts.

Tricky but think I'd like to get it done and dusted this week.
Then we can rest some of the players that are doing it tough at the moment.
Can see us meeting Wigan again before the Grand Final.

Wire win. We'll take second and a home play off against St Helens.

If Wigan beat Wire and then Wire beat us we would be looking at an away game in the play-offs.

This is all assuming we beat Wakefield which is certainly no gimme.

Wigan for me. The hub cap obviously comes a distant second to the GF, but chances to win the treble don't come around very often.

And if we end up having to go away from home in the semi then so be it, our away record against the top teams is fantastic.

we beat wakey, wire beat wigan, a home semi final is the main objective now, not the LLS

saints at home as i havnt seen anything in their last two games that we couldnt handle at full strength

If we beat Wakey and Wigan lose, that's us guaranteed to finish in 2nd.

If we beat wake and Wigan win against wire we stand the chance of finishing 3rd if we lose to wire.

That said, we have to beat Wakey first.....

Not sure a home draw give Hull any real advantage to be honest, most of our big performances have come away from home this season.

Our form away from the KC has been brilliant including 3 big CC wins

It would be nice to have a shot at the LLS but if its a brutal game with lots of sore bodies and suspensions resulting from it then I'd be happy enough.

The LLS would be nice, I would like to play saints at home in the semifinals though.

Great game tonight to watch and a bit of a win, win situation for Hull (well maybe the fans.) Wigan win and its all on next week and the LLS is once again in our hands and the possibility of the treble. Wire win and its a guaranteed 2nd place finish (baring some mathematical miracle) and a home semi final. No doubt Hull FC want the treble and to try and pick up another piece of silverware as will some fans. For me a home semi-final is a must and a Wigan win tonight would mean we have to beat wire next week, not only to get top spot and the LLS but with Wigan playing Catalan next week they could end up leapfrogging us into 2nd and then a away tie in the semi!!! I hope they batter each other for the full 80 minutes!!

At the start of the season, I was looking at top 6, keeping in thr running for top 4, with a good Wembley run.
we have since finished top the league (regular season, should already have the LLS imo) won at Wembley and are within 1 point of top of the league. whilst there, why not go for it?
I'd rather W**an win tonight, sets up a grand slam finish at the KC next week for the LLS. yes we could finish 3rd, but even an away tie in the semi's id fancy our chances.

so hope for a w**an win tonight and then beat wire at our place...COYH
